Do you want to become a volunteer and help street children and -youth in Cape Town? Do you find it appealing to work for a small non-profit organisation where we all know each other? Then we might be looking for you!

We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to help us with various tasks. If one or more of the following tasks appeal to you, we would like to talk to you. Please feel free to contact us.

Are you a networker? Do you have a soft spot for street youth and can you talk a good game about things that warm your heart? You might be the ambassador we’re looking for.

We are looking for people who want to present Tâmam to friends, at meetings, in churches and so on. We want to give Tâmam publicity and make it widely known. Of course with the aim to increase our (prayer and financial) supporters and volunteers. This can be done in various ways, without a doubt in some form that suits you best. Supporting material is available.

Are you enthusiastic, creative and a good listener? Do you have great communication skills, master the English language, and possess the power of persuasion? Do you know how to translate developments into opportunities? Are you result oriented but above all customer directed?

Then you might be the fundraiser we are looking for. We offer a job to make people and businesses excited about Tâmam and interest them to become a (one-time or returning) donor. This task includes coordinating and developing activities related to fundraising. And keeping a record of all funding applications and awards.

Do you like writing attractive, understandable, short and concise texts? We send out three to five newsletters a year.

From messages sent in the Tâmam WhatsApp group you’ll choose what is important and convert it to news bulletins for people who sympathize with us and support us. You will search for suitable photos, collect texts and create and send a newsletter at least three times a year using the program MailChimp. Experience is desirable, but not required.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm who can keep our website up to date.

Do you have experience with placing content on a website? Do you have a lot of experience working with computers and the internet? We have a challenging task for you.

Do you like doing research?  Are you easily finding your way on the internet? Are you able to read official texts and make it accessible for others? Several times a year we have smaller or bigger research tasks, that may mainly be done behind your own computer in your own time.
